This Quilt of Valor was a little more challenging to quilt because the borders were a little wavy. It also had a different kind of batting - the black that you see. I did not do anything fancy on this because of the wavy borders, but once the binding is on, this will make an nice quilt for one of our wounded service members.
After being away for 31 years, we are finally home again. We are South Dakotans through and through, so this is were we want to spend our "retirement" years. My husband and I are getting ready to open a custom woodworking business with me being the paper pusher and the woodworker's apprentice. Along with that I am going to continue quilting and also work as a substitute teacher. Life is good!
